Full-Time Retail Clerk

  •  must work 5 or 6 days per week from open to close (10:30 am to 6:30+ pm)

Positions offered at V.V.

  • Retail Manager

    Keep the vortex spinning as one! The retail manager takes on all the roles of a retail clerk in addition to leading the crew with their tasks and responsibilities. The manager also stays in close touch with the Social Media Manager and E-commerce Director to ensure branding co-hesion for the store.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in managerial positions
    • Knowledge of vintage/historical fashion
    • Ability to complete basic data entry, including photography
    • Clear communication with staff

  • Retail Clerk

    Welcome all who enter the vortex - your portal to vintage bliss! Aside from assisting customers, tasks include researching merchandise, listing via shopify app, and tagging clothing & accessories; as well as styling mannequins, product stock and organization, store cleaning, and sales checkout.

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge of vintage/historical fashion
    • Ability to complete basic data entry, including photography
    • Over 1 year of retail experience

  • Social Media Manager & Event-Coordinator

    Create fun reels and posts! V.V.'s social media content manager is expected to produce trendy content with a focus on driving viewers online and in-store. Besides creating the next trendy reel, the content creator also posts about events and promotions at V.V. Additionally, the social media manager takes on the role of event-coordinator: reaching out to vendors and community event groups to establish events at V.V.

    Requirements:

    • Must upload at least 3 reels and 2 image posts per week to Instagram and Facebook.
    • Expected to work 25 hours per week
    • Open availability to reply to DMs swiftly
    • Timely communication with vendors

  • E-commerce Director

    Product drops! The e-commerce director updates V.V.'s website and gives retail clerks guidance on uploading products to the site.

    Requirements:

    • Open to position being dually remote and in-person
    • Must respond to Etsy messages in a timely manner via the Etsy seller app

  • Window Dresser

     The window dresser takes the lead in designing and assembling a show-stopping window front. Produce windows quarterly.  Collaborate with retail clerks to create a fun and creative window displaying seasonal products.

    Requirements:

    • Work hours are when the store is closed
